New start

Morning!
For quite some time I am trying to make myself a new website but I never had the time nor the motivation for it but sooner or later there was a feeling in my stomach that told me to do something at least. My problem with the “old” website wasn’t the quality or design or anything else at all but I felt I want something more than a static website that lists my projecs, my friends and my bookmarked links.
The motivation in the end was a change to a different server provider (which is cheaper of course) but then again I realized that I had to move all “projects” I’ve done in the past to this new vserver and this would be a real pain the arse so I really slept _some_ nights to think about it and decided to rate my projects and I came to the conclusion that no project is really of some use for anyone except me…this is nothing special as I’ve never promoted any of my project but it’s a psychological barrier which you always have in your mind and which can tend to burn you out completely so my final decision was to burn the latest backup of all current (unused) projects to optical media and to have it rest in peace. To be still able to show something off my projects I mirrored anything I technically could so one can visually see what I’ve done in the past. As I’ve got the source on optical media to rest for the next 100 years this should be no problem at all.
I mirrored anything I could and you can now take a look at all my projects on the “my-projects” page. There you also can find links to the “static versions” of the projects if it’s a website. This was probably one of my best ideas in the last two weeks because it’s so relaxing to not care about old stuff anymore…btw…you can mirror a website with “wget -m -p -k http://foobar” very well. Where wget can’t work it out are links like “index.pl?id=12&mode=bla”…it will make stupid things then and it also doesn’t respect “@import “bla.css”
…
What you can see here is my new website or blog and it’s all based on wordpress. I did a customized theme for it so it doesn’t look like a typical wordpress blog. I based my theme on a blue theme made by blogohblog but as the time went on I completely changed the theme and it visually has now absolutely nothing to do with the original one but it was a good template for me that really saved me some time so I respect that and always will link to that original theme. I also created some plugins to create the projects and random interests area. Both plugins are mainly based on my lexicon plugin for wordpress which I am also using here (more or less *cough*).
So what can one expect from this website? I mostly want to blog about developing software and partially about my projects and interests which is all about programming, too so one can expect the topic to be very centric around software development. One can expect at least one post per week
…perhaps more but I doubt that.
Cheers, Andreas.

Where can I find the old projects?
