Filialfinder is a web application I wrote for Billigweg.de, a virtual travel agency on the web and its use is to easily find their local travel offices in Germany. For that I created a complex and interactive map of Germany that you can use to find them.
First you click on the state that you want to find their offices in. Then a panel will show up with a list of all offices in that state. If you click on one those items that represent an office, “filialfinder” will show you a minipage that displays generic information about the office like address, contact information and a photo. On that minipage you also get a list of all employees working there. If you click on one employee you will see another minipage that’s similar to that minipage you’ve seen before but with the difference that this minipage contains information about that employee plus a photo and some FAQ. I created Filialfinder using Perl, FastCGI/FCGI, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP5.
